Abstract :

The pollution status of the effluents from chemical process industry was studied qualitatively by using micro algae during a period of on year. The study of micro algae benefits observed has been calculated in the pilot scale laboratory and has been revalidated with similar applications cited . The influence of cyanobacteria on removal of oil and grease, sulphide, BOD, COD, and TDS was good. Cladophora, Lyngbya and Scytonema removed these pollutants up to 85 to 90%.
