A STUDY OF MENTAL HEALTH OF IX CLASS STUDENTS WITH FATHER EDUCATION AND ANNUAL INCOME

Abstract :
The prospect of mental health lies in adequate adjustment to life situations. It can confidently be said that mental health of the future depends upon those who influence the lives of young people. The main objective of the present study is to study the influence of father education and annual income on the Mental health of IX class students. Mental health scale was developed by Thorpe and Clark (1959) was adopted from Pavani, M (2017). A sample of 300 IX class students representing all categories of Secondary schools in Chittoor District by following the standardized procedures. ‘F’ – test was employed for analysis of the data. There is significant influence of father education and annual income at 0.01 level of significance on the Mental health of IX class students.
