Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID–19), a disease caused by SARS–CoV–2, a single–stranded RNA virus, may cause life–threatening severe acute respiratory syndrome. The disease is hypothesized to be highly contagious and may be transmitted by aerosol, fomite or by feco–oral route. Healthcare professionals are at a much higher risk of SARS–CoV–2 infection as compared to normal population. This study puts in an effort to assess the risk of infection among doctors working in various settings in a tertiary hospital in Jharkhand.
