Currently most of the students are attending online classes or it’s an only source of information delivery system in India due to Covid–19 Pandemic. As E–learning is completely new to Indian students aim of the cross–sectional study is to know the perception of students for online classes or E–Learning. A total of 579 students took part in the study. Based on results Online/E–learning is less time and effort consuming but it cannot overcome the face to face classroom teaching in terms of practical and realistic problems solving completely. There are many contents as well technical issues need to look after and most of the students still prefer face to face classes as compared to E–Learning.
