In order to evaluate the patients having chronic post sternotomy pain,100 patients who were operated between January 2015–January 2017 at Stanley Medical College,Chennai were followed up in OPD.They were asked about the pain and the efficacy of analgesics they had received after their operation.They were also asked if they still had pain related to sternotomy and if any attempt has been made to treat the pain.The primary goal of this study is to investigate the incidence of chronic post sternotomy pain in patients operated at Stanley Medical College,Chennai–01
