Abstract :

Introduction:– Metabolic syndrome , as well as postprandial hypertriglyceridemia, is associated with coronary heart disease. The number of meals consumed and the long duration of postprandial lipemia lead to a continual fluctuation in the degree of lipemia throughout the day. Objective:– The present study aimed to assessed the postprandial lipemia after OFTT in MetS and control. Fasting and postprandial lipid profile was measured in (n=31) MetS and (n=18) control.
