Abstract :

Majority of the failures occurs because of missed and non–negotiable canals and hence a clear understanding of the root canal system and its possible variations is an essential for successful root canal treatment.Maxillary molars have one of the most complex root canal anatomy and usually Mesiobuccal two canal is commonly present in maxillary first molar but occurrence of palatally two canals is very rare, as palatal root is single, oad and bulkiest among all canal. Thus, the present case report presents endodontic management of five canals (two palatal, two Mesiobuccal and one distobuccal canal) in maxillary first molar, was diagnosed by careful exploration of pulp chamber and confirm by using conventional radiographs.
