EFFECT OF SELECTED YOGIC PRACTICE ON FLEXIBILITY AGILITY AND MUSCULAR STRENGTH AMONG COLLEGE MEN ATHLETES

Abstract :

To achieve this purpose of the study, thirty (N=30) college men Athletes were selected as subjects from Pondicherry university . The subjects were aged between 18 to 22 years. They were divided into two equal groups consist of 15 subject, in each group at random basis one group was called as Control Group and another group was called as Experimental Group. The following experimental variables were selected to analyze the effect of Selected Yogic Practice for developing Flexibility, Agility, and Muscular Strength among College Men student. The control group and the Experimental Group were made to take the pre–test on the selected test items and the datas were collected. After 6 weeks of systematic yogasana practices, the data collected from the Control Group and Experimental Group were statistically analyzed by using Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA).
