Abstract :

This study evaluates the use of liary resources and services by the P.G. Students (i.e. science and art department�s students) of University of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Well structured questionnaires were used for collecting opinions of the use of liary resources and services. The 150 questionnaires were distributed among the PG students out of which, 125 questionnaires were received back from the respondents. The present study demonstrates and elaborates the various aspects of liary anthology uses within the available resources, frequency and purposes of visit, utilization of liary services, average time spent in the liary, adequacy of liary hours, adequacy of reading space facilities, document position, manuscript search through catalogues, liary automation, judge the behavior of liary staff as well as satisfaction with overall functions of the liary
