Abstract :
Pain is considered as one of the most debilitating diseases of modern world. Dentinal Hypersensitivity or Cervical Dentine Sensitivity is characterised by a short, sharp pain arising from exposed dentine in response to thermal, tactile, evaporative, osmotic or chemical stimuli, which cannot be ascribed to any other dental defect or pathology1. The condition affects 8–57% of the adult population and is associated with chronic exposure to the oral environment2.
