ANTENATALLY DIAGNOSED CONGENITAL PULMONARY AIRWAY MALFORMATION WITH POST NATAL FOLLOW UP

Abstract :

Congenital pulmonary air way malformation is congenital developmental malformation of lower respiratory tract with incidence of 1: 10,000 newborns 1–2 .We report a case of a female newborn diagnosed with cystic lung disease during prenatal ultrasound born to a 28 year old female as one of the twins. Caesarean section performed at 37 weeks of gestation, developed respiratory distress on 3rd day of life. Post natal CT thorax was done which confirmed the same. This study iefly discusses CPAM subtypes imaging features and differential diagnosis of cystic lung disease of child hood
