Abstract :

Data was collected from Central Clinical Laboratory, Department of Pathology, PDU Medical College & Hospital, Rajkot. Blood sent in EDTA (Ehylene Diamine Tetraacetic Acid) vacutte was tested in automated cell counter and peripheral smear examination was done which concluded that hypochromic microcytic anemia is the most common type and females are more commonly affected than males.
