A Study on Different Supply Chain Strategy for e–Shopping Agencies

Abstract :
The e–shopping is a form of electronic commerce which allows consumers to directly buy goods or services from a seller over the internet using a web owser. The aim of this study was to investigate different supply chain strategy of e– shopping agencies. We have considered two models for e–shopping supply chain strategies to find out optimal order quantity and profit for inventory. The solution for optimal order quantity and maximum profit of inventory under different demand distribution is shown with numerical example. The results illustrated that only supplier / manufacturer supply strategy was dominant to only e–shopping supply strategy
