A Study of Perception of Parents Towards Commerce Department of Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak

Abstract :

The paper is an attempt to have an insight into the perception of Parents towards Commerce Department of M.D.University Rohtak in the State of Haryana. To achieve the objectives of the study, a sample of 50 parents was selected from parent of students from the campus of Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak and the data were collected with the help of a questionnaire. The researchers found that majority of respondents think that getting admission in this university is a matter of pride; most of respondents asked that his ward is improving his/her knowledge through interaction with faculty; the university maintain discipline in all respects; some parents were saying that university not maintain discipline in all respects; majority of respondents were thinking that a positive change in the behavior and personality of their ward is clearly noticeable after joining the department.
