Validation of SST 300 bearing casing for SST 200 bearing casing in static load condition

Abstract :
SST–200 is a steam turbine which is used for 10MW power production and SST–300 is also an another steam turbine which is used for 20 MW power productions. In order to increase the capacity of SST–200 its front beå is replace by SST–300 front beå .But before replacing this beå assembly some modification must be there and also ensure for static loading condition. So in this paper we have make 3–D model of different components of SST–200 beå and SST–300 beå in pro–e and analyze in ansys. And conclude whether it is possible or not.
