ULTRASOUND EVALUATION OF CAROTID ARTERIES IN STROKE PATIENTS
Dr S. Venkateswar Rao, Dr B. Srihari
Abstract :
Atherosclerotic cereal vascular disease is a life threatening and debilitating neurological disease. Studies have shown that there is a close relationship between carotid artery stenosis and ischemic cereal vascular disease. This study is done to assess carotid arteries with the help of color Doppler and B mode imaging and to correlate cereovascular accidents with extracranial carotid artery status.
