Thermodynamic Parameters for Binary Mixtures of DMF and DMSO at Various Compositions.
Arun Nikumbh, Kalyan Langore
Abstract :
Density and viscosity of DMF, DMSO and their binary mixtures have been measured as a function of their weight percent composition at different temperature. Excess volume VE, deviation in viscosity Δη, excess Gibb’s free energy ΔG*E, Wvis, d12, H12 and T12 parameters have been calculated as a function of composition (DMF–DMSO system) over the temperature range from 298.15 K to 313.15 K. The main thrust of the study is to co–relate the excess properties and the relevant interaction parameters with the nature of molecular interactions between the mixing components
