Solvency Analysis � A Study of Public and Private Insurance Companies in India

Abstract :

In this research paper, An Analysis of Solvency of Insurance Companies (Non–Life) in India is undertaken. For the purpose of study, 4 companies of public sector and 8 companies of private sector are considered. For analysis of solvency, Solvency Analysis as per Insurance Solvency International Limited (ISI) is undertaken. Moreover, solvency analysis as per solvency determinants is done.
