Physico–Chemical Assessment of Groundwater Quality of Ahmednagar Industrial Area

Abstract :

 A systematic study has been carried out to assess the physicochemical characteristics of water samples of Wells from Ahmednagar Industrial area. The parameters were analysed such as Temperature, pH, Electrical Conductivity, Alkalinity, Nitrate, DO, BOD & COD. This research work shows that the water quality of the wells from Ahmednagar Industrial area is deteoriated possibly due to increased of human activities and improper release of industrial effluents.
