Parent Child Interaction and Academic Achievement of Higher Secondary Students

Abstract :
This study is an attempt to find out the parent–child interaction and academic achievement of higher secondary students. 300 Samples were used in the present study. Simple random sampling method has been adopted. S.V.Kala’s Parent–child interaction scale was used as tool. Relational and differential analyses were used. Results showed there is significantly difference in the mean scores of parent–child interaction of higher secondary students with respect to level of study. There is no significant difference in the mean score of academic achievement of higher secondary students with respect to level of study.
