Optimizing the Implementation Process of Installing Capacitor Banks in Electrical Industrial Network.

Abstract :
The paper aims to introduce an algorithm for optimal installation a capacitor bank (C.B) in an electrical industrial network.. Using the proposed algorithm the location and size of capacitors units can be determined. The methods found in the open literature have some advantages, proposed algorithm ,which is explained by a flow chart, enables to reduce considerably the losses of electrical energy but they do not determine the succession of capacitor units installation and do not considered limited (pre–specified) financial resources that may be available by the industrial company. The proposed method has been implemented on an industrial network, and the test results are included.
