Major Approaches in Instiling Values Related to Human Rights

Abstract :

Human rights education develops human personality, human dignity, creating awareness of rights, helping students think critically about the issues related to human rights. The importance of human rights education is focussed on the inculcation of values. Values related to human rights must be instilled in the young minds that make them a strong support human rights. At school level, values related to human rights education are inculcated through various activities. All these activities are coming under three approaches. They are direct, indirect and implicit approaches. These approaches are very useful for the teachers of secondary school to enrich the culture of human right education.
