Internet Marketing in Tourism

Abstract :
Tourism is the worlds largest civilian industry whose growth, economic significance andpotential are phenomenal across the globe. Online tourism is rapidly becoming a growing topic of research and its importance as future mode of acquiring information and purchase of tourism products and services is growing day by day.It is evident that e–business is an essential prerequisites for successful organizations in the emerging, globally networked, internet–empowered business environment, especially for the tourism industry. Worldwide there is an increased use of internet by both demand and supply sector in tourism has been ought to the limelight in this paper. Significance of internet marketing in Tourism, its benefits to the seller and its benefits to the buyer are also focused here.
