Impact of Cognitive Behavior Therapy in Reducing Anxiety among Adult men and women

Abstract :
The effect of Cognitive Behavior Therapy intervention in reducing the magnitude of neurotic anxiety was examined in a select sample of 40 men and women in 55-60 years. Subjects with moderate levels of neuroticism were exposed to CBT. The CBT using a pre-post test design was found to be effective in reducing levels of neurotic anxiety.
