The major variables affecting the ground water quality and suitability for domestic, agricultural and industrial purposes were studied. Forty two water samples were analyzed for various physico–chemical attributes and correlated with those of World Health Organization (WHO, 2006) standards. Major cations (Mg +2, Ca+2, Na+, K+,) and anions (CO3– , HCO3–, NO3–,Cl–, F–) . An overall view is that all samples falls within the permissible limits expect for few locations.
