Abstract :
Objective: Clonidine has been used as an adjuvant to local anesthetics in order to extend the duration of analgesia in central neuraxial and various peripheral regional blocks. It is previously reported that clonidine added to bupivacaine increases duration of analgesia in achial plexus block. We evaluated the effect of Clonidine added to local anaesthetic solution against local anesthetic alone, in supraclavicular achial plexus block for upper limb orthopedic procedures
