Compative evaluation of epidural ropivacaine (0.1%) and (0.2%) with fentanyl (2mcg/ml) in Labour analgesia

Abstract :
“Delivery of the infant into the arms of conscious and pain–free mother is one of the most exciting and rewarding moments in medicine “Labour pain is one of the most distressing pain parturient has to bear.. Pain relief in labour has always been surrounded with myths and controversies. Hence providing effective and safe analgesia during labour has remained an ongoing challenge to anaesthesiologist .Both pharmacologic and non–pharmacologic strategies have been used for treatment of labour pains.
