Cleft Palate Lateral Synechiae Syndrome – A rare case report.

Abstract :
Oral synechiae is a rare craniofacial anomaly . This case report with findings of 15 days old
Preterm male baby with birth weight of 1.6 kg , was admitted in our institution with the findings
Of difficulty in opening mouth and feeding difficulty with bulging anterior fontanellae. Baby was
maintaining saturation in room air. Careful examination of oral cavity reveals that baby is having
Micrognathia , multiple bands connecting between alveolus and hard palate on both sides with
incomplete cleft palate .
Baby was evaluated thoroughly with routine blood investigation with MRI ain imaging.
Diagnosed as a case of Cleft palate with lateral synechiae with tetraventicular hydrocephalus
and synechiae was released.
