Dr. Sunil Prasad, Dr. Avinash Kumar
Abstract :
BCG1 (Bacillus–Calmette–Guerin) vaccine is considered as gold standard2 for the prevention of tuberculosis. Many BCG vaccines are available worldwide, all are derived from the original strain, but the vaccines vary in efficacy. Apart from that BCG vaccines also show many adverse reactions such as skin eruption, injection site abscess and lymphadenitis3 etc. especially in infants which is very problematic to them. This is a case documented from the OPD of CRU (Ranchi), CCRH. The case was treated successfully with the homoeopathic medicine. According to individualized homoeopathy, over a period of 6 months and shows remarkable improvement in BCG induced skin eruption
