Abstract :

Humans have sought cures for diseases in nature since ancient times, even recently, the use of herbal medicines in dentistry supplements, energy drinks, multivitamins, massage and weight loss products has gained popularity. These uses have oadened the field of herbal medicine and also increased its credibility. Oral diseases are among the major public health problem and the commonest of chronic diseases that affect the mankind. The application of natural products for the control of oral diseases is considered as an interesting alternative to synthetic antimicrobials due to their lower negative impact, and for the effort to overcome primary or secondary resistance to the drug during therapy.
