Abstract :
Pneumocephalus (Intracranial aerocele), defined as intracranial air, is an uncommon complication in head injury patients. It can present immediately following head trauma or be delayed for many days before clinical symptoms occur. The diagnosis made by computed tomography (CT) in all cases. 91% cases were managed conservatively, 9% cases managed by surgery for tension pneumocephalus and depressed fracture. We presented prospective study of 100 cases of traumatic pneumocephalus with review of literature.
