In Present time there have been many achievements in computer technology. Brief history of computers in liaries, role of computer in liaries, various activities of liary administration, application of computer services, requirements of various files, serial control verification circulation control, technical processing etc… Points are discussed iefly. In a nutshell the role of computer in the field of liary. As well as in organization is very useful. Now computer helps in various activities of the liary like clerical works and other daily work.
