Abstract :

This paper examines the genesis of e–books. Analysis with respect to different aspects relating to business organizations involvement in the industry and authentic published information is studied with the help of secondary data. Questions such as who is reading e–books and why they are reading and where they are reading are analyses and insights documented. A set of conclusions is provided on the nature of the market for the future of e–books with strategic financial implications is provided to undertake future research.
