Abstract :

Organisations have become more challenging today than ever before. It is not unique to any particular organisation but affects all the organisations. Organisations are continuously seeking to improve the performance. Few decades back organisational climate was just a subject that�s all. Man managers or Professionals of Organisational Behaviour (OB) did take less note of to it. As times passed by and OB started gaining momentum the professionals in the field of managing men at work did not bypass any issue that came in their way of managing men thereby affecting the production or productivity. The most important issue that came up and found to have a direct be� on the performance of employees in an organisation is Organisational Climate (OC). Hence, OC has become an important variable in the success of any organisation. Studies have come out with quite a few contradictory views about it. But that fact of the matter is that OC does have a considerable be� on Employee Performance. Certainly, Organisational Climate is created by those willing employees who are keen to travel that extra mile. This paper would throw light on the various elements of OC how it influences the performance.
