Evaluating Musculoskeletal Complications Among Individuals With Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract :

A study on toxicity of lambdacyhalothrin on life cycle stages of Anopheles gambiae, using different concentrations of lambdacyhalothrin according to World Health Organization larval and adult bioassay. 650 each, of the life cycle stages and 350 adults were selected from the insectary ed strains. Data were analyzed using probit analysis and multiple regressions. Egg mortality were 7%, 29%, 63% and 81% in 0.010. 0.015. 0.020 and 0.025 mg/l respectively after 48 hours. 100% mortality of larval instars and pupae was recorded in all concentrations within 24 hours except in 0.001mg/l where 96% pupal mortality was recorded. The rest 4% died 12 minutes later. A total of 76%, 82%, 82%, 86%, 100% and 100% mortality of adults were recorded in 0.001, 0.005, 0.010, 0.015, 0.020 and 0.025 mg/l respectively. LC50 ranged from 0.000 mg/1 to 0.049 mg/l while LC9o ranged from 0.000 mg/1 to 0.863 mg/l. Lambdacyhalothrin–based insecticides is advocated.
