EQUILIBRIUM STUDIES OF BINERY COMPLEXES OF SOME TRANSITION METAL (II) IONS WITH 5-ASA

Abstract :
Stability constants of Mn(II) and Co(II) transition metal complexes with drug 5-ASA have been evaluated at 40.00°C + 1.00°C temperature and 0.2 M (NaClO4 ) ionic strength in double distilled water medium by potentiometrically. Proton ligand stability constants (pK) and metal ligand stability constants (logK) were determined by using Calvin Bjerrum titration technique as modified by Irving and Rossotti.
