COMPARISON OF BENEFITS OF TERRACE GARDENING BETWEEN INDIVIDUAL HOUSES AND APARTMENTS

Abstract :

Terrace gardening are a living work of art in which the plants are arranged on a terrace. It also consists of indoor or outdoor plants (Irfan-lodhi, 2018). One important purpose of terrace gardening is passion for gardening. Apart from that, it has many other benefits like ecological benefits, water conservation, energy conservation, decorative enhancement and attraction to birds and insects. Terrace gardens also contribute tremendously towards the health betterment of the occupants of the building (Rao, 2016). The present study focused on comp� the benefits of terrace gardening between individual houses and apartments. The results of the study showed that benefits of terrace garden by the selected respondents were similar irrespective of their type of house and positive relationship exists between factors inspired and level of satisfaction on benefits of terrace gardening.
