Clinical Effect of Panchkarma Treatment in Pakshaghat - A Case Study

Abstract :
A 73-year female patient with complaint of right side power loss along with heå loss and vision loss who was unable to stand and walk was diagnosed as a case of Pakshaghata under Ayurveda. She was given Panchakarma therapy which included Svedana, Snehana and Basti therapy as a base line treatment of Pakshaghata along with other medicines as a Shamana therapy continuously. The therapy provided a significant result in the patient which resulted in improved heå power and vision capacity with marked improvement on standing and walking power of the patient on giving treatment over two admissions and duration of three months.
