CASE REPORT- A CASE OF INTERNUCLEAR OPHTHALMOPLEGIA AFTER BACTERIAL DIARRHEA

Abstract :

Internuclear ophthalmoplegia is a manifestation of intrinsic ain stem disease which produces ischemia of demyelination of nerve. The most common cause is multiple sclerosis and cereovascular diseases. Rare causes account for about 11%. Incidences are equal in males and females. It is extremely rare in pediatric population. We report a case of internuclear ophthalmoplegia following acute diarrheal episode
