Assessment of depression, anxiety, and stress among medical students enrolled in a medical college of Udaipur, Rajasthan, India

Abstract :
Objective: To determine the prevalence of depression, anxiety, and stress among medical students. Methodology: Using predesigned and validated DASS 21 scale items the students underwent with a face-to-face interview. Conclusion: It is observed that emotional distress is common among medical students. Therefore there is an immediate need for attention, support and personal counselling.
