ANALOGUES OF 6,8-DIBROMOQUINAZOLIN-4(3H) ONES: POTENTIAL ANTIMICROBIAL AGENTS IN VITRO

Abstract :
A new series of some analogues of 6,8-diomoquinazolin-4(3H)-ones 61-12 have been synthesized by the cyclisation of acrylamide 51-12 with hydrazine hydrate. The overall reaction was based catalysed conventional multistep process. The title compounds have been characterized by spectral data IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and elemental analysis. All the synthesized compounds were screened for antibacterial and fungicidal activity In Vitro by disc diffusion method and strength compare with standard drug.
