A CASE OF INFECTIVE ENDOCARDITIS IN STAPHALOCOCCUS AUREUS BACTERAEMIA

Abstract :
Staphylococcus aureus is a leading cause of community-acquired and hospital-acquired bacteremia. Patients with S. aureus bacteraemia can develop a oad array of complications that may be difficult to recognize initially and can increase morbidity. Mortality rates of 20 to 40 % have been described. In our case, the patient developed a life threatening complication called infective endocarditis.
